One of the most practical features of Arnica Patch is the XL 8x10 inch cut-to-fit design. A single patch can cover your entire lower back, or be trimmed with ordinary scissors into a small strip that fits perfectly under your eye after a rhinoplasty. Here's how to get the best fit for common use cases.
Just ordinary household scissors and the patch itself. Cut before removing the protective liner so the adhesive stays clean and the patch doesn't stick to itself. The hydrogel material does not fray, lose adhesion, or change effectiveness when cut.
Knee: Cut into a roughly 4x5 inch rectangle and center it over the kneecap. For the sides of the knee, cut two narrower strips and apply them flanking the joint. Shoulder: A 5x6 inch piece covers most shoulder pain areas. Trim one edge to a slight curve to follow the shoulder contour. Lower back: Use the full patch or trim slightly to fit inside clothing. Apply horizontally across the lumbar region. Under-eye (post-surgery): Cut a strip approximately 1x4 inches. Place just below the orbital rim on the upper cheekbone — never directly on the eyelid.
Clean and fully dry the skin before applying. On high-movement areas like the knee, reinforce the edges with a small piece of medical tape. Avoid applying over body hair for best contact. The patch is not water-resistant — keep it dry and replace if it gets wet.
